CORRUPTION

New answers to an eternal problem?

We all know the problems associated with corruption. We have a fair idea how to deal with them. The challenge for both business and governments is how to turn principles into reality. And that is where the dilemmas begin.

The tightening international legal regime means that companies from OECD jurisdictions may be prosecuted in their home countries if they pay bribes abroad. The expanding international media network heightens the risk of reputational damage to offenders. Yet honest companies still need to win business in the face of challenges from less-principled competitors.

Control Risks is an opinion leader in the anti-corruption field. We regularly publish reports and assessments of the latest developments, as well as contributing to the publications of other organisations.

Our recent reports include:

Corruption, compliance and change (2009)
